The Opportunity

As an Engineer Manager at Inscribe you’ll partner the Fraud Product Manager to solve your customers document fraud problems. You’ll manage and grow a talented and multidisciplinary product team. You’ll help your team deliver new methods of detecting fraud and tune models to stay one step ahead of the fraudsters. You’ll help define Engineering Management at Inscribe.

Responsibilities

• Partner with PM on roadmap and goals

• Offer constructive and timely feedback on expectations and performance

• Support the personal development of your team

• Ensure continuous delivery of customer value

• Recruit and retain engineering talent

• Participate in technical design

• Define product SLOs and ensure they are met

• Contribute to Product and Engineering wide initiatives

About You

• Care about the customer’s problems — human document review is slow, error prone and difficult to scale

• Are motivated by ensuring engineers succeed and develop

• Have both deep technical and people management skills

• Are passionate about continuous delivery

• Have hired and motivated high performing teams

• Comfortable with a high degree of autonomy and accountability

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of the Fintech industry, especially risk teams

• Experience building ML-backed products

• Experience with API first products

• Experience integrating with common enterprise SaaS products
