SalesJack is a sales software platform (CRM, Prospecting Service) for independent businesses in the construction supply industry. We are growing quickly and profitably. Our engineering team is growing in Canada.
As a Solutions Engineer at SalesJack, you'll own the technical side of bringing new customers live and keeping them successful. Every implementation involves ERP integration, product category mapping, permit source configuration, data migration, and on-site training — and you'll be the person who makes all of that happen. Post-launch, you'll handle customizations: new reports, routing rules, data transformations, and one-off integrations. You'll work closely with founders, engineers, and the dealers using our product every day. We highly value a startup mentality—taking initiative, moving quickly, and iterating solutions based on real customer feedback.
We are looking for:
- 2+ years in a Solutions Engineering, Implementation Engineering, Data Engineering, or similarly hands-on technical customer-facing role
- Strong SQL — comfortable writing non-trivial queries against Snowflake, Postgres, or similar warehouses
- Comfort with REST APIs, auth flows, pagination, rate limits, and debugging flaky endpoints
- Familiarity with (or strong interest in) construction supply ERPs such as BisTrack, DMSi Agility, or ECI Spruce
- Some travel may be required to customer sites in the US

2. Technical Exercise: SQL, integration design, and a customer scenario walkthrough ~1.5 hours
3. Cultural fit call with one of our founders ~30mins
