About Outlier Ventures

Outlier Ventures is the leading web3 accelerator globally. Founded in 2014, it works with startups at various stages of their lifecycle from pre-seed / seed (via Base Camp our accelerator program) to later stages about to launch (or live) token networks. We specialise in the New Data Economy, Infrastructure, DeFi, and the Open Metaverse, bringing together a network of thousands of the world’s leading web3 founders, protocols, and VCs to mentor and invest in startups.

In light of the new strategic focus on the Middle East region, Outlier Ventures will be launching a new in-person accelerator in Riyadh and we are looking for a Program Associate.

This is a very exciting role that requires a mix of entrepreneurial mindset, operational & project management skills, knowledge of web3 and passion for supporting founders’ growth.

While the role is based in Riyadh, the Program Associate will work closely with the team on the ground as well as the rest of the global accelerator team and with all the Outlier Ventures web3 experts.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will work alongside startups and Outlier Ventures teams to deliver success across the year for up to four cohorts of web3 startups. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting market research, including crypto elements like token design
• Developing startup business strategies
• Crafting fundraising strategies and core materials for pre-seed/seed and pre-sale level startups
• Building and mapping networks
• Enabling the cohort to excel and grow
• Supporting the operations of the cohort

This role provides a comprehensive view of early-stage crypto ventures, where you will work with teams through the accelerator and onto their fundraising events, whether equity or a token.

This position is well suited to those looking to jump start their transition into startups, venture or crypto. You’ll get exposure to a broad range of founders, innovations and partners - as well as seeing under the hood of Outlier Ventures.
