Supported by Y Combinator and top-tier venture firms, Model ML uses its own models and foundational Language Models (LLMs) to automate specific workflows within finance.

Job Description:

We require a dynamic Sales Director to lead sales in the APAC region. The role involves managing the sales lifecycle, from lead generation to customer service to product feedback & iteration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the APAC region.
  • Identify potential clients, including private equity firms, investment banks, and relevant consultancies.
  • Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals and providing ongoing customer support.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with industry key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with internal teams to guarantee a seamless customer experience.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to increase brand awareness and generate leads.

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the financial services or software industry.
  • Well connected within the industry and region.
  • Experience in or with private equity firms, investment banks, or consultancies or organisations that sell into these markets.
  • MBA and strong academic background from top universities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This is key given we are a currently a small global team working around the clock.
  • Ability to work independently and lead sales in a new region.
  • Willingness to travel within the APAC region as needed.
