We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to take ownership of our internal product design function and take it to the next level. You will play a key role in shaping and designing the future of BTC Markets' product & platform experiences which bridge people into the world of crypto and delight our customers.  

What You’ll Do (but not limited to): 

• Lead and cultivate internal product design practices across the business and its products/platform. 

• Lead UX research & discovery of consumer journeys across our products and platform through workshops, prototyping and customer testing. 

• Design and launch user-centric experiences that help customers, and the business, achieve their goals. 

• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to build innovative products and a new platform. 

• Establish and develop the BTC Markets’ design vision and principles. 

• Research, understand, and advocate for user needs in all product development stages for a variety of user journeys across the platform - buying/selling, funding, portfolio management, market insights/research, and investing. 

Who you are: 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a UX/Product designer with expertise in desktop web, mobile web, and native app experiences. 

• Experience establishing and defining design systems and component libraries. 

• Experience leading and owning UX research & discovery phases with best practice tools and techniques. 

• Experience building out prototypes and proof-of-concepts for customer testing and feature validation. 

• Ability to work autonomously and lead design projects to achieve outcomes. 

• Previous experience working in start-up or scale up agile environments. 

• Previous experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or Crypto. 

• Interest, passion or knowledge in crypto, blockchain or web3 will be highly regarded. 

• Experience with the following tools; Figma/Figjam (or similar collaboration tools), Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence). 

Additional Requirements:

• Australian citizen or permanent resident status. 

• Successful background check is required. 

• Melbourne-based preferred.
