We are seeking an experienced and visionary HR Manager to join our team and lead our People operations as we continue our global expansion. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the People strategy of the Academy of Digital Industries, ensuring sustainable growth and excellence in people management. You will be taking ownership of the People/HR team, driving initiatives to elevate the team experience, optimise talent acquisition, and refine HR processes. Your role is crucial in building a diverse, thriving organisation and fostering an inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business goals.

  • Manage recruitment, retention, and promotion processes for a diverse workforce.

  • Support business needs through human capital development, engagement, and motivation.

  • Monitor and implement HR strategies, performance metrics, and legal compliance.

  • Drive continuous improvement in team member engagement, communication, and productivity.

  • Oversee conflict resolution, fair application of policies, and address the team concerns.

  • Lead recruiting-to-need, talent management, and workforce administration.

  • Manage contracts, agreements, licenses, and certifications for the workforce.

  • Design and oversee team development systems aligned with company culture and strategy.

  • Optimize global team performance through strategic frameworks, processes, and systems.

  • Contribute to the formulation and delivery of the global people strategy.

  • Manage alumni relations, student succession, and career opportunities partnerships.

Job requirements

  • Degree-educated, with a preference for postgraduate qualifications.

  • 7+ years of global HR generalist experience.

  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.

  • Strong organizational skills, adept at managing multiple projects and priorities.

  • Genuine champion of company values, integral to team dynamics.

  • Previous experience supporting a People team in a startup environment.

  • Expertise in relationship management, especially at managerial and stakeholder levels.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on active listening.

  • Tech/digital recruitment experience.

  • Entrepreneurial drive with a track record of achieving stretch goals in a fast-paced environment.

  • Fluent/native in English; proficiency in French or Spanish is a plus.
