Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the website makeover, marketplace design, and landing page setup for our partner relationship campaigns. This role requires a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, excellent visual design skills, and the ability to create engaging user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Website Makeover: Redesign and enhance the overall look and feel of the Starlight Retail Inc. website, ensuring a modern, intuitive, and user-friendly interface.

• Marketplace Design: Create a seamless and engaging user experience for our marketplace, focusing on ease of navigation, product display, and customer interaction.

• Landing Page Setup: Design and develop effective landing pages for various partner relationship campaigns, optimizing for conversion and user engagement.

• User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.

• Prototyping: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas and solutions effectively.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, development, and product teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and align with business objectives.

• Design Systems: Maintain and update the company’s design system, ensuring consistency across all digital platforms.

• Feedback Incorporation: Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and users to continuously improve the design and user experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field.

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a tech or SaaS environment.

• Skills:

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.

  • Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.

  • Experience with responsive design and mobile-first design principles.

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

  • Ability to conduct user research and usability testing.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
