Demand IQ is a software platform that allows home improvement contractors to provide instant quotes to homeowners. Our algorithm combines multiple data sources to provide sizing estimate of a home with just the address, enabling online quotes for solar, roofing, HVAC, sustainable turf, and other products. Contractors can quote and sell online using the website plug-in, or quickly bid a job via our mobile app.

Project Details

Demand IQ is looking to revamp their customer admin portal to enable self-service signup, onboarding, and activation. They would like to do a UX Audit based on their latest research and User Scenarios as well as leverage Material UI to make the UI more modern and intuitive.

We estimate that this project will require roughly 60 to 90 days with 20 to 40 hours of weekly work.

Tasks & Deliverables

• Review the research results and user stories created by the client to understand user needs and preferences.

• Do a UX Audit of the existing two-product customer portal and suggest best practices to updating it.

• Develop wireframes and prototypes to visualize system functionalities.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into design concepts.

• Design high-fidelity prototypes for user testing and feedback.

• Iterate designs based on user feedback and stakeholder input.

• Provide design documentation and guidelines for consistent implementation.

• Build and handle a strong component library and hierarchy for easier scaling and responsiveness.

• Ensure seamless integration of design elements with the technical team's developments.

Requirements and Experience

• Experience designing customer portals, B2B SaaS products

• Experience in UX Audits

• Experience building SaaS products from scratch to final deliveries
