Job description
As the Senior Visual Designer of a new initiative at Bezos Academy, you will lead visual and graphic design for educational software and print materials for caregivers and families. You are a hands-on, impact-driven designer who will create and apply visual language across a range of product experiences, including digital interfaces, print collateral, and packaging. With a passion for visual art and graphic design, and a mission-driven mindset, you will expand access to early childhood development for families of all kinds.
You have a track record of visual design for products that solve human problems. You work across mediums, despite constraints on time and resources. You have a keen sense for art direction and a portfolio of visual and graphic design success in multiple consumer-facing products. You design with a customer mindset, preferring working demos and storytelling over perfect pixels. You are adept at starting from blank pages, resolving ambiguity, and iterating your way to customer love. You know exceptional work when you see it and you sow this passion in others.
You will find yourself in a fast-paced, start-up environment where you will focus on inventing and designing for caregivers. You are equally motivated by great products and great impact, deeply inspired by our mission to expand access to early childhood education in under-resourced communities.
