We need to scale our people programs to achieve our ambitious goals, and we’re searching for a leader to lay the foundations of our People Infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for the tools, systems, and processes that drive an engaging employee experience at Ribbon, including setting up our People analytics, our Total Rewards programs, selecting the right systems for our company, ensuring our operations are compliant, and scaling our processes as we grow.

What we’re looking for in this role

  • Deep People Operations & Total Rewards Expertise: You have deep knowledge of People/HR practices and procedures and broad knowledge of the various functional areas within a people organization. You have previously stood up a People Operations function that focused on tools and systems and have experience building compensation models. You are well-versed in compliance and applicable employment laws. You have hands-on experience using a variety of People/HR tools across the spectrum of the employee lifecycle. You have demonstrated success in building and implementing HR policy and programs for a dynamic high-growth organization.
  • Analytical Problem Solving: You are data driven, take an analytical mindset to problem solving, with a bias toward action, results, and operational excellence. You have created, pulled and analyzed metrics for People functions, using data to drive impactful changes.
  • Operational Excellence: You have experience in both building programs from the ground up and elevating existing programs through feedback and iteration. You take pride in creating high-quality people programs, and are thoughtful about inclusion and equity in systems and processes. You have led strategic initiatives while owning the day to day operations.
  • Exceptional Communication & Collaboration: You have exceptional communication and project management skills. You are highly effective at partnering with people and building trusting relationships across the business to achieve impactful results. You can be trusted with sensitive information and operate with a high degree of integrity.
  • Inspiring Leadership: You have led high achieving People teams and have a willingness and proven ability to develop and mentor others. You have demonstrated the ability to adapt, increase your capacity to learn, and adopt new skills.

Your day-to-day

  • Build and drive all facets of our People Ops Infrastructure, including setting up our tools, systems and analytics and core operations
  • Lead our total rewards, policies, benefits, immigration, people analytics, and PEO management
  • Partner closely across the team to assess & iterate on existing People programs, processes, workflows, and practices
  • Stand up and manage People dashboards and reporting, to surface trends and drive team priorities

  • Find opportunities to automate, scale and drive innovative solutions to improve the employee experience
  • Keep our team safe, secure and operational by ensuring our compliance across the employee lifecycle
  • Drive company-wide performance management and reward cycles, in close partnership with the People team

The base salary range for this role is between $170,000-$190,000. Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. Ribbon also offers a competitive equity package, health insurance, parental leave, 401K matching, and other great benefits
