We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our small team and help ensure the quality of our sector-defining Quoting, Subscription, and Revenue management solution.

You will work on projects that span technologies, systems, and processes all while designing, testing, and shipping great code.  Our Development Environment and Application Stack includes but are not limited to Java, Dropwizard, Jooq, React, Typescript, Next.js Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, RDS Aurora, Elasticsearch, Cognito, and DynamoDB.

In this critical role, you will collaborate with other stakeholders and will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional

Responsibilities

• Conduct regression testing to ensure that software updates and changes do not introduce new defects.

• Document and report defects, issues, and test results clearly and accurately, using designated bug tracking tools.

• Collaborate closely with engineers, and product managers, to understand project requirements and verify that they are met.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases to verify the functionality, usability, and performance of the application.

• Perform exploratory testing to identify defects, inconsistencies,unexpected issues and usability concerns.

• Collaborate with the Test Automation Team to contribute to the creation of automated test scripts.

• Participate in Test environment setup and data preparation activities.

• Take ownership of assigned testing tasks and see them through to completion.

• Effectively communicate testing progress, results, and any issues to relevant stakeholders.

• Ideally, possess experience in the CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and Billing domains.

• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, testing tools, and emerging trends in software quality assurance.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience

• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with unwavering attention to detail

• 3+ years of proven experience as a Test Engineer with good Knowledge of web and mobile application testing on various platforms and browsers.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Basic understanding of database principles and the ability to write and understand SQL

• Familiarity with Cypress, Playwright, or similar web testing frameworks ( optional)

• Excellent written and verbal communication for a fully remote environment.

• Preferred experience in startup, mainly testing SAAS products
