To support us with robustifying our technological stack and advancing our cloud/on-premise solutions, we are looking for your help.

We are hiring a DevOps engineer.

🎯 Your responsibilities

Working on all infrastructure-related issues: cloud infrastructure management, cloud optimization, monitoring of on-prem and cloud devices, CI/CD, etc. Work with the software engineering teams to design, deliver and manage services with low latency and high uptime. Streamlining the setting up of on-premise infrastructure at our customers, troubleshooting with them if something goes wrong. Working with hardware: edge processing units, cameras, relays, etc. In the future: working on scaling the system and distributing between different cloud providers.

📚 Our backend stack

• Video processing with ffmpeg and python
• Data streaming with Apache Kafka, persistent data storage in MongoDB
• Containerized microservices with docker compose
• Computer Vision models in PyTorch
• GitHub with CI/CD
• Processing and storage on Google Cloud and bare metal at customers

🛠Desired Skills and Experience

• Strong experience with Linux/Unix administration
• Solid bash scripting knowledge and at least basic python scripting skills
• Expertise with logging, monitoring and automation tools
• Experience of working with Google Cloud
• Previous experience with operating, maintaining and improving CI/CD with GitHub actions or similar (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.)
• Experience with the following technologies: Git, Docker, Apache Kafka or Pulsar, NoSQL database (MongoDB) Kubernetes on cloud (GKE) and on prem
• Strong understanding of networking concepts
• Experience or interest in modern MLOps technologies
• Willingness to explore new hardware solutions
• Good English skills

A plus:

• Experience with video streaming
• People management skills
• Experience with hardware: purchasing and choosing the right hardware components, setting up hardware
• Experience with security tools such as firewalls, VPNs, MQTT, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability management tools
• Familiarity with security standards such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2
• Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
