📍 Remote | 💰 $9 to $17 hour CAD | 🕘 Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM EST (Flexible Hours)

🚀 About the Role:

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to help craft engaging, high-energy video content for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and long-form YouTube videos. You should have a strong understanding of motion graphics, AI-powered animation, and viral video trends, ensuring content is eye-catching, dynamic, and optimized for maximum engagement.

This role also requires experience with AI-powered video and animation tools, helping us optimize content creation with cutting-edge technology.

🎥 What You’ll Do:

✅ Edit short-form and long-form videos with a focus on fast-paced, high-retention storytelling. ✅ Create motion graphics, kinetic typography, and animated elements to enhance engagement. ✅ Utilize AI-driven video and animation tools (e.g., Runway, Pika Labs, Kaiber) to enhance content. ✅ Add dynamic captions, overlays, and special effects to make videos stand out. ✅ Repurpose long-form content into viral short-form clips for multiple platforms. ✅ Stay ahead of social media trends, editing styles, and platform algorithms. ✅ Collaborate with our creative team to optimize content for engagement and reach.

⚡ Must-Have Skills:

🎞️ Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve 🖌️ Strong motion graphics skills (e.g., kinetic typography, logo animations, transitions) 📱 Deep understanding of social media trends and YouTube algorithms 🎼 Expertise in music selection, pacing, and storytelling for engagement 💡 Experience with AI video and animation tools (Runway, Pika Labs, Kaiber, etc.) ⏳ Fast turnaround time and ability to handle tight deadlines 🤖 Ability to integrate AI-enhanced motion graphics and animations

🔥 Bonus Points If You:

⭐ Have experience in meme edits, punchy jump cuts, and adding sound effects for engagement. ⭐ Can reformat videos for different platforms (9:16, 16:9, 1:1). ⭐ Have a portfolio of viral videos showcasing motion graphics and AI-generated elements. ⭐ Can leverage AI tools to create animated or enhanced video content efficiently.
