ABOUT US

Gambyt's mission is to make real-money gaming products more relevant and accessible to the world.  We are specialists in the lottery industry and create products that deliver life-changing winning moments to players while driving a meaningful impact on state budgets that benefit good causes.

Through our agile software development practice, we create digital products such as games, loyalty programs, and user experiences that are loved by millions of players.  Our team consists of extremely talented product managers, UX/UI designers, software engineers, project managers and quality testers that collaborate closely to achieve our vision.

We embrace an office-optional approach with headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan - the first state in the country where all forms of internet wagering (lottery, casino, sports) have been legalized.  Our company is on the ground floor of an industry revolution and we are helping to lead the digital transformation of gaming options in the marketplace.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Senior UX Designer, you will work to gain a thorough understanding of our industry and become a subject matter expert in the lottery industry and real-money gaming market.  In addition to crafting designs, you'll work closely with company leadership to improve our design process and collaboration models between departments.

You will partner with project, engineering, and other stakeholders to discover and define the product roadmap for native apps, websites, financial systems, and promotional programs that modernize the player experience.  Organize and execute workshops that engage stakeholders in the solution space while providing thrust and diverse concepts into your design process.

In this role, you must be highly-proficient at creating and maintaining information architecture diagrams, user flow diagrams, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and realistic prototypes.  You'll present design iterations both internally and externally and cultivate a feedback loop that helps to define world-class player experiences.

With each project, you will be expected to collaborate with analysts to distill data into insights that inform and justify design decisions.  Partner with other team members to execute player research activities and ensure that the voice of the customer is continually channeled into the design process.

You'll provide mentorship to junior staff, assist with hiring activities, participate in leadership planning functions, and establish standards for design systems and processes.  This is a critical role that will have substantial influence on the direction of the department and the products that we craft.

Our design tooling leverages Sketch, Abstract, ProtoPie and Adobe Creative Cloud.  We work in an agile framework, delivering new software to the market every two-weeks.
