Logan Simpson is an award-winning, multidisciplinary consulting firm that specializes in environmental consulting, cultural resource management, community planning, and landscape architecture design services.  We are seeking a candidate who will contribute to our diverse, collaborative, and innovative team; maximize the opportunity to learn new techniques and skills; and bring new tools and ideas to the table.

 Logan Simpson has an immediate opening for a part-time or regular part-time Landscape Designer/Graphic Production Designer to work 25-30 hours per week on average, based out of our Fort Collins, Colorado office.

 Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepares reports and document layouts in InDesign utilizing appropriate layout tools and skills.

  • Prepares graphic content for project branding, reports, documents, public engagement events, social media, display boards, newsletters, and other materials.

  • Develops representative visually appealing graphs, tables, and/or infographics to communicate complex data sets or concepts.

  • Assist with site analysis and design tasks, utilizing AutoCAD, hand drawn, and GIS skills.

  • Applies graphics skills and expertise to other areas of the business as needed.

Position Requires:

  • Enrolled in or completed bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Graphic Design, Geography, Art, Planning, or closely related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.

  • Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office products.

  • Be able to work cooperatively in a team-oriented setting.

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Exemptions from vaccination may be considered for medical reasons or for a sincerely held religious belief.

 Bonus Skills/Experience:

  • Experience working with planners, designers, or A/E consulting industry

  • Skills in web design, including familiarity with online public engagement platforms

  • Familiarity in Sketch-up or 3D modeling programs

  • Familiarity with print industry standards and specifications

  • Familiarity with ArcGIS to Adobe Illustrator workflow to create polished cartographic map products


This is a part-time position paid on an hourly basis between $21 to $26 per hour, depending on experience and education.
