We are Spliced Inc. and we’re looking for a Lead Environment Artist. 

The Role:

As Spliced Inc’s Lead Environment Artist, fostering a strong spirit of teamwork will be second nature to you and you’ll be at home working on a stylized AAA title. 

Key Responsibilities:

As part of the Art department, you will be responsible for leading a team of Artists to create world-class environments whilst working closely with the Design team and Art Director.  Additionally:   

• Build, develop and lead our Environment team.

• Collaborate with the Art Director and other departments to understand and implement the artistic vision and style of the game.

• Define and create modular kits based off of high level concept art.

• Define working practices and ensure authored content is adhering to any predefined structures and standards.

• Effectively communicate with other art disciplines, design, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of assets into the project.

• Support team leadership in regular content reviews, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards and are in line with the project's vision.

• Working with the Art manager and Production to effectively plan and manage milestone goals and tasks for your team.

About You:

• Demonstrable lead experience working on a AAA title.

• Expert knowledge of industry-standard software such as Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter and  Photoshop.

• Strong art skills: Creating visually compelling environments that have narrative through set dressing and design language.

• Experience with project scoping and planning.
