Our company is globally distributed, offering the opportunity to collaborate with co-workers across the world. This role requires availability to work and attend meetings during Eastern Time zone (North America) business hours.

Position Overview:

As the Product Designer, you will play a vital role in designing and executing a world-class user experience for Conduit clients, pioneering the next generation of seamless and efficient cross-border payments. You will be tasked with designing a user interface that simplifies the complexities of cross-border payments and providing an intuitive and transparent experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a comprehensive design language that includes components and patterns scalable across different countries and currencies.

• Design with a mobile-first approach, acknowledging the prevalence of mobile transactions, and ensuring the responsiveness of the app across various device form factors, from phones to tablets to desktops.

• Develop a solid understanding of Conduit's clients, their use cases, and problems in order to create a UI/UX solution that effectively meets their needs.

• Understand how to evolve the app by researching the offerings and app interfaces of Conduit's competitors.

• Partner with product management to align the app's design with Conduit’s business goals, ensuring that the app drives user growth, retention, and positive financial behavior across all client segments.

• Develop and maintain a design system that is scalable and responsive, ensuring a consistent user experience across all devices and platforms.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through iterative testing and ongoing user feedback, refining the app to meet the evolving needs of clients.

• Actively seek feedback and responds calmly to criticism or negative feedback.

• Show a willingness to understand the entire customer journey and considers how each design decision impacts the rest of the product and beyond.

• Have the ability to gather all the information first, truly understanding what our customers are saying before providing a solution. (Many people listen to reply, not to understand. They offer a solution before fully listening to and understanding the problem.)

• Ensuring that important details are not overlooked or allowed to derail a project.

• Possess the ability to question and learn why customers struggle and how to build creative design experiences to solve complex problems.

• Understanding customer requirements and discern the difference between stakeholders, users, etc.

Qualifications:

• Strong focus on UX, with the ability to understand technical aspects and define a solid foundation for the entire customer journey.

• Ability to interpret vague product direction and collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to translate designs into clear engineering outputs.

• Portfolio showcasing an understanding of user needs, logical flow, hierarchy, and key design principles when building financial products.

• Experience in Figma and previous contributions to a design system are required.

• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and embrace an iterative design approach.

• Excellent attention to detail when designing, collaborating, and problem-solving.

• Curiosity to understand how things work, explore how others are solving similar problems, and develop creative solutions.

• Able to manage your schedule and deliver projects on time while working remotely.
