Location : Europe, Remote 

The Developer Product Marketing Manager is a brand new role at Vue Storefront, therefore the role is up to you to shape it. We are searching for someone who is motivated, self-driven and understands the challenges and opportunities of a startup. You'll work closely with our Marketing Product, and Developer Community team. You'll work on our Developer Activation strategy, by developing messaging, and engaging content for our tech personas. If you have experience marketing to developers, and how developer communities work, we'd love to get to know you.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Gain a deep understanding of the tech personas that are using, or benefitting from using Vue Storefront
  • Be our internal thought leader, and advocate of our tech personas, and help our teams to sell, market and build better products for them
  • Create compelling messaging for our tech personas, and help us to optimize our marketing and sales materials
  • Create engaging content and campaigns with the help of our Community and Content team
  • Create a scaleable strategy to turn our open-source users and free trial prospects into enterprise customers
  • Run competitive, customer, and market research, and enable other teams with actionable insights
  • Release communication planning and management of our open-source product to help our users get the most out of their Vue Storefront project
  • Constantly monitor the performance of our campaigns built for the tech personas, and proactively optimize them, or find new opportunities
  • Be up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in developer relations

What do we expect you to have?

  • At least 1 year of experience marketing to developers or actively building developer communities
  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing roles
  • Experience in B2B SaaS
  • Track record of building strategies for product-led growth, and executing them
  • Ability to run and manage projects across teams
  • Understanding of software development principles, common practices, business drivers, emerging trends and tools in eCommerce
  • You have experience with developer tools and open-source projects
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Success managing multiple complex projects and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Experience working with various levels of the organization including technical and non-technical stakeholders

What else would be appreciated?

  • Experience as a software developer
  • Experience in eCommerce, and Composable Commerce
