ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in helping clients and prospects find where vision systems can have maximum ROI and impact on their factories.  You’ll work with both new and existing customers to find applications, sell systems and implement them.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Selling Vision Systems

  • Prospect and network with new and existing customers (Manufacturing Engineers, Controls Engineers).
  • Find problems and applications for vision systems.
  • Work consultatively with the customer to sell and implement the vision systems.

Client Assistance in System Installation

  • Provide hands-on assistance to clients with the installation of Overview's vision systems.
  • Guide clients through configuration and customization processes.
  • Perform testing and validation to ensure systems meet performance standards.

Technical Support and Problem Solving

  • Deliver ongoing technical support and resolve issues during and after installation.
  • Escalate problems to the right team members at Overview and work with them on solutions.
  • Continuously check in to ensure a good customer experience with Overview.

Training and Knowledge Transfer

  •  Train clients on system operation, maintenance, and best practices.
  •  Create and distribute training materials and documentation.
  •  Serve as a technical liaison for client inquiries.

WHAT WE WANT TO SEE

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical selling to manufacturers.
  • Engineering background or significant technical experience.
  • Knowledge of PLCs and automation systems.
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time by plane and 50% of the time by car.
  • Proficient in problem-solving, communication, and customer service.

OTE $160,000 - $220,000
