OneAct is a global company specializing in software and AI technology development. We operate PieceX, the AI-driven marketplace for vetted enterprise software solutions. Our platform enables sellers to monetize their code and helps buyers purchase high-quality source codes, reducing development time and costs by over 90%.

We’re looking to expand our team with a full-time UX/UI designer and engineer.

You’ll have the ability to work on mobile and web interfaces. Your job will be mainly focused on creating user interfaces, doing user research, usability testing, and information architecture development. You will work closely with the design and development team. 

Our team works remotely and communicates mostly using text and video calls, so you need to have good communication skills and written English. This is a full-time position (about 40hrs / week). 

Requirements:

1. Passionate about the web, product design, and problem-solving.

2. Able to create interface design based on wireframes for mobile (iOS and Android) and web apps.

3. Ability to create and maintain design systems.

4. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, conceptual thinking, typography skills (English), and design skills.

5. Have the ability to understand and translate business goals into user experiences

6. Cooperate with developers, check and review final implementations of the design.

7. Experience working Figma. Ensure designs are responsive and accessible.

8. You will have to work with engineers directly and have to be aware about implementation details.

9. Ability to understand web and application states where designs have to account for different lengths and types of content, hover effects, responsive window sizes etc.

10. Ability to understand technical implementation details of delivered art assets and implications as well as best practices.

11. Ability to create animations.

12. Places high priority on consistency in design.

13. Knowledged about file formats, differences, bitrates, color spaces, compression, dimensions, filesizes, browser differences.

14. Ability to work organized when it comes to file management, naming conventions and other organizational parameters.

15. Understanding of component based design where individual design element are reused and consistent with the overall theme. Same for color palettes.

16. Strong tool knowledge high desired.
