Job description

Your role will involve developing software solutions for a complex system that handles thousands of virtual meetings daily, demanding efficient and resilient performance. We’re on the lookout for a seasoned engineer with 10 or more years of experience who excels in solving intricate problems and delivering robust performance, with the potential to grow into an engineering manager role, overseeing part of our engineering team.

Our stack: Python backend (FastAPI / pydantic / sqlalchemy), a React / Typescript frontend, a Node.js / Puppeteer / Chromium meeting bot, Postgres, Redis, and IaC through Terraform. We’re cloud-native and are currently deployed on AWS (primarily ECS) and Azure.Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Evolve and maintain various components of our technical infrastructure
  • Enhance the efficiency, performance and scalability of our systems
  • Write clean, efficient and well-documented code
  • Collaborate with our team to improve the general user experience of our product and optimize performance
  • Potentially manage and mentor a part of the engineering team, fostering growth and ensuring project delivery
  • Support with various tasks as needed, ranging from infrastructure maintenance to customer support

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Python and/or Typescript with 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Great communication skills
  • Desirable but not required: Puppeteer, Chromium, Cloud Ops (AWS, Azure), Terraform
  • LLM experience is a plus but not a prerequisite.
