The opportunity looks like this...

With our portfolio of projects and verticals on the rise, Simpluris seeks to hire a Full Stack Developer in the Western or Mountain region of the United States (e.g. Arizona, Colorado, California, etc.) to primarily work on building dynamic website applications for the various legal case projects we administer. These applications are built utilizing existing patterns and modern technologies such as React and REST API's (built on top of Amazon AWS server-less technologies such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, etc.). This position is a remote working opportunity (Simpluris will provide necessary equipment).

Skills & requirements

Here is what we need from you...

  • Proficiency (1-3 years) with React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, responsive design
  • Preferred experience (at least 1 year) with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core
  • Familiarity (~1 year) with cloud server-less technologies (i.e. Lambda, S3, CloudFront, SQS, etc.)
  • Preferred experience with version control (e.g. Git)
  • Familiarity with agile development practices
  • Ability to document changes made to systems and provide updates as needed
  • Ability to self-manage and work independently as needed
  • Ability to communicate and discuss development issues effectively to non-technical users
  • Ability to work productively on a remote, geographically distributed team
  • Willingness to learn & explore new technologies

Here is what you will be doing...

  • Building website applications using existing patterns while adhering to customer requests and changes
  • Intake and interpret requirements from stakeholders
  • Deploy and support new/existing websites
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications
  • Prioritize, organize, and audit work effectively against deadlines
  • Participate in sprint planning and estimating
  • Interface with internal/external staff & clients (technical & non-technical)

Bonus points for...

  • Experience with various database technologies (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, DynamoDB)
  • Understanding of JSON, REST, and Web Frameworks (e.g. NextJS)
