Job Description

  • You shape the transformation of Bosch towards an IoT company with a modern software culture.
  • You develop and automate data pipelines with state-of-the-art technologies and tools for various internal partners. Your expertise contributes in ensuring the quality and reliability of the pipelines during and after development.
  • You work with an interdisciplinary and dynamic team in important projects for Bosch. You also have the opportunity to change between projects and domains to extend your horizons.
  • You are responsible for the test specification, implementation and test automation in our projects.
  • You align with the software/ data architects and engineers to achieve the design for testability and the right direction of quality goals of the software in the projects. You develop the test plans for the software projects and coordinate the test executions in cooperation with the project teams.

Qualifications

  • Education: completed university degree (Masters/Diploma) in computer science or an equivalent subject
  • Personality: responsible, future-oriented, analytical thinker and team player
  • Working Practice: independent and structured
  • Experience and Knowledge: experience in test automation for distributed systems implementing batch (e.g. Spark jobs, Airflow) and streaming pipelines (e.g. Kafka), understanding of software engineering methods, experience with modern tools and technologies for test automation and continuous integration
  • Qualifications: programming skills in various languages such as Python, Java or C#, experience in handling software dependencies and version control, familiar with classical and agile software engineering as well as DevOps practices
  • Languages: good competencies in spoken and written English, German language is appreciated
