Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
The ideal person will be creative, conceptual and innovative and have a versatile, collaborative approach to the design process. This individual will work very closely with the Sr. Art Director, Digital and Global Creative Director to create compelling, engaging, and modern design and typography solutions for digital marketing materials that will help visually communicate our brand around the globe. You will need to be a self-starter, able to problem solve both technical and creative challenges, with the ability to find and explore solutions as the projects progress.

Demonstrate a variety of creative styles and methodologies with proven credentials in developing bold and original design for email marketing, ecommerce, banner ads, and mobile-first website pages.

Have a highly sophisticated taste level for typography, photography and illustration

Have an understanding of visual hierarchy and how to design impactful marketing assets while remaining elevated and sophisticated

Goals / Deliverables:
Looking for a creative who will take ownership for the projects they work on and have a productive and positive attitude with clients and fellow design team members. You are comfortable working under tight deadlines, and are extremely organized with project files, and adept in sharing projects/toolkits with fellow designers. This director will enhance design for all of our marketing channels - encompassing digital, print and off-site marketing. You should be a fountain of ideas and possess the skill set to transform the best ideas into wireframes and visual assets for a strong, succinct brand and customer experience. The candidate will oversee a team of digital designers. You should be able to demonstrate your work, with a proven track record of taking projects from creative concept to final delivery.

Requirements:
Must have minimum of 8 years of applicable experience with a refined eye for design, and demonstrated command of the following skill set:

Extensive experience with UI/UX design, modular design systems, and best practices

Experience with email newsletter design, e-Commerce sites, website advertising, digital campaigns

Experience designing landing pages and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript

Able to oversee and guide strategy and creative solutions for multiple projects.

Strong ability to plan, set goals, and complete multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.

Extensive knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, Adobe XD, Figma

Knowledgeable of email marketing best practices and an understanding of mobile-first, responsive web design

Strong command of typography, layout, form and color.

Firm understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and image optimization techniques.

Understanding of mobile-first responsive web design

Knowledge of web and email client technology’s restrictions and opportunities.

Able to take a design project from concept to completion.

Able to multitask and stay on top of multiple projects with tight deadlines

Must organize personal workflow so projects are easily passed between colleagues.

Technically knowledgeable and savvy in a digital environment.

Constant development of skills and exploration of new creative techniques.

Able to communicate creative ideas within a collaborative environment.

Bachelor's Degree required
