Sparks is looking for Graphic Designers in both CA and NY!
Conceiving creative designs to address clients’ needs across events, trade shows and brand activations -both virtual and IRL.
Generating ideas and building on those of others (yes - you will have help!) to make sure the solutions meet the client’s needs.
Presenting the ideas to internal audiences and clients in a way that shakes their world.
Collaborating across Sparks’ offices and with a diverse group of professionals, other external agencies, working closely with the Strategy, Account, Event and Production Teams.
Creating production files and overseeing the production and QA processes - digital, large format and traditional print.
Working as part of a team, with our people and other agencies, rolling your sleeves up, being flexible and listening to input from others to deliver great creative ideas.
Advocating for creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment; a workplace that allows everyone to reach their full potential fosters creativity and innovation at all levels.
Maintaining and building on the agency's reputation and relationships with clients and talent.
Who you are
5+ years of creative experience working with multiple brands, at an agency or world class organization.
A strong creative track record of delivering effective and outstanding work with a background in Graphic Design, Art Direction or Digital Creative
A hands-on approach to doing the work - you know how to do it yourself, even the bits that are not glamorous but need to get done - when you work with others, you know what it takes and how to help!
Presentation skills - you are comfortable in front of a room (virtual or real) selling and explaining creative ideas in a fun, engaging and straightforward way.
You know Adobe CS and have experience with motion graphics, and XD is a bonus.
You have experience developing (live or virtual) PPT or Keynote presentations - key skills include understanding templates and masters, in-program animation proficiency, and a solid technical understanding of file/image quality requirements.
Knowledge of production techniques, the ability to talk technically with production teams and vendors, evaluate samples and documentation.
Curiosity about the possibilities, an interest in global culture, innovation and what’s happening around the world.
You have the right attitude, know how to operate under time and budget constraints, you’re tenacious, willing to learn, question and respond positively to input as part of the team.
