Duties: Develop software for the Discretionary Investment groups. Develop Document Management solutions. Design, analyze, and develop unit testing (Test-Driven Development) and regression automation (Behavior Driven Development) to delivery product backlog for large and complex projects. Adhere to firm-wide architecture standards, risk management, and security policies. Work with Global Team, product owners, and business team to develop, build, and support applications. Communicate and collaborate on development items with the Global Team. Work to resolve issues impacting development. Provide post production application support. Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and code reviews. Conduct requirement analysis and application design with the Business and Development Teams. Research to produce effective and efficient solutions for business and company requirements. Conduct all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle including designing, developing, unit testing, integration testing, performance testing, monitoring and maintaining new and existing applications.


Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Delivery Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Adopting and practicing Agile methodologies including story grooming, spring planning, complexity analysis, standup calls and sprint retrospectives; Java 8+; Spring; Spring-boot; Hibernate; Graph QL; Kafka; IBM MQ; Documentum 6.7 including Webtop, Composer, DFC, and DQL in Content Management; User Interface Technologies including REACT and Redux; Database technologies including Oracle and Sybase; Continuous Integration/Continuous Development technologies including Jenkins, API Gateway, Unix and YAML scripting; Automation Testing tools including Cucumber and Selenium; and Cloud Technologies including Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
