DESCRIPTION

ZAGG has an outstanding opportunity in Creative Marketing for a talented, experienced digital designer who has a passion for e-commerce. This position offers design diversity on our website and Amazon stores; you’ll get to show off your mad skills across a variety of project-types such as visual design, art direction, photography, advertising, and product storytelling. You will bring your love and knowledge for strategic UI/UX/CX with a unique visual style in online retail.

RESPONSIBILITIES

70% Design & Production

- Take digital design projects from ideation to completion
- Develop story-driven content across digital channels including our website and Amazon pages
- Create and execute innovative, customer-centric designs by integrating marketing objectives, target audience data, and product story content
- Understand brand standards to ensure that assets are accurately produced based on approved style guidelines
- Produce visual content and layout design for website product pages, category pages, landing pages, emails, banner ads, etc.
- Responsible for fulfilling web-focused tasks; hero banners, gallery tiles, carousel images, headers, graphics, etc.
- Create accurate production files based on approved style guides and front-end development requests
- Develop digital mockups using SKETCH and moderate the proofing process
- Collaborate across multiple creative teams to drive execution of all asset types (video, photo, 3D, copy, social, etc.)Work with creative leads to ensure that timelines, resources, and budget allocations meet project scope
- Collaborate with Marketing, Digital, and Product leads in defining and executing on e-commerce initiatives
- Build strategic partnerships with the Digital team, inspiring and delivering strategic design that drives traffic and activates shoppers to buy
- Dive deep into data to find meaningful insights that inform visual communication and product story decisions
- Communicate product stories using customer journey maps, prototypes, storyboards, wireframes, shot lists, and mockups
- Ensures and maintains a positive environment with team members

20% Development

- Conceptualizes multiple creative solutions to address e-commerce strategies, digital campaigns and social initiatives
- Collaborates with Creative Director and Art Director, Sr. Web Designer, and UX Designers in producing creative assets that are on brief
- Build and maintain relationships with our visual content team of video, photography, and animation
- Works closely with Product Marketing Manager, Product Managers, and other project stakeholders across the company
- Use your understanding to create a clear vision for creative solutions and ensure this vision is clearly communicated and understood with both clients, planning, and the account team
- Articulate and defend strategic thinking and creative direction to internal and external stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience
- 5-8+ years of interactive visual design or web design experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design skills, UX thinking and process, and crafting interactive/digital experiences that solve for a customer problem
- In-depth understanding and proficiency with all creative design tools (Ex. Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, InVision)
- A creative ambassador that will build culture of creative thinking and innovation with internal teams and channel partners
- Ensure clear communication upwards and downwards within the team and set expectations you will meet by managing your time and projects, being mindful of those you are collaborating with as much as deadlines
- Educate, inspire, and motivate colleagues across the organization to help them understand, protect, and produce the strongest creative ideas possible
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
