Your role is to work with our users, developers and DevOps teams to gather and analyze business

Deliver infrastructure and software fixes on time and on budget, based on original scope and requirement mandates. Participate in a continuous infrastructure improvement program by analyzing and remediating platform problems. Work with internal audit and business teams to close application and infrastructure control gaps. Design new modules and functionalities to meet business needs. Partner with supporting developer leads to develop realistic and achievable project estimates. Responsible for application analysis and development activities. Develop and implement best practices. Participate in Unit, SIT and UAT test planning and management. Oracle Database Programming including writing stored procedures and performance optimization; Unix Shell; Shell scripting; Open source web technologies including Apache, Tomcat, Spring, and Hibernate; Core Java; Multi-threading; JDBC; JPA; Spring MVC; RESTful web services; Maven; Sonar; Jenkins; GIT and Subversion; Agile; SCRUM; JSP; Angular JS; JQuery; HTML; and JavaScript.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
* Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
* Knowledge of industry wide technology strategies and best practices
* Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
* Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages Java (knowledge of other JVM languages such as Kotlin or Scala a plus)
* Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
* Knowledge of computer science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms
* Knowledge of architecture & design
* 7+ years hands-on experience of developing microservices using Java, and Springboot
* 7+ years hands-on experience of building distributed system with micro-services
* 7+ years hands-on experience of SQL and NoSQL databases
* Knowledge of Spark, Hadoop, Big Data is preferable
* Knowledge of Kafka and other messaging a plus.
* Knowledge of AWS, S3, EMR is preferable
* Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes is a plus
* Working with Agile, Lean and Continuous Delivery best practice
* Knowledge of software best practices like refactoring, clean code, domain driven design, encapsulation etc.
