About Privacy Rights and Preferences(PRPP) Product at Chase:
* A firm-wide platform for data privacy requests Support for jurisdictional variations as well as LOB distinctions where appropriate Automation of request processing and data collection to reduce manual workload Compliance with any new regulations/legislations
* Reduced cost for compliance with future legislation with implementation of core product Data Privacy is a branch of data protection concerned with the proper handling, processing, storage and usage of personal information focused on the rights of the individuals with respect to their personal information. The value of the team lies not only in development of the platform, but in defining what data privacy means to JPMC and how the firm must change to remain compliant and competitive.

Main Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the technical integrity of our team's delivery
* Partner with the Engineering Lead Manager in the analysis, estimation and release plan of future work impacting our team
* Partner with the Scrum Master to lead our team in breaking down complex Features/Stories into well understood and achievable tasks
* Partner with Architects on the design and architecture for our team's deliverables
* Be an active developer and contributor to the team's delivery. Take the lead on solving and implementing difficult technology challenges and drive our team to successful delivery
* Ensure development quality is being tracked and improved using techniques like Unit Testing and Peer Review
* Cultivate and introduce/drive (where appropriate) Agile engineering practices including: Pair Programming, Continuous Integration, Automation and Test Driven Development
* Strengthen the presence of our team as a Technical center of excellence. Actively work with other leads to align to a consistent technology vision and keep the rest of the organization aware of our activities
* Mentor team members to progress their technical and professional skills

* 3 - 5 years experience working as a hands-on (actively coding) Application Development Lead or related leadership role
* 5+ years as Java Application Developer in technology stack below
* Technology Stack:
+ Java - Expert-level implementation skills with Core Java, Spring Boot, Object Oriented Programming concepts and patterns
+ CI/CD - Expert-level working with Maven as a build tool and GIT as SCM tool
+ Database - Expert-level implementation skills with ORM frameworks like Hibernate/JPA. Must be highly proficient in SQL preferably across multiple databases
+ UI - Expert level implementation skills with UI framework such as Angular, React, Javascript, workflow knowledge (Camunda)
+ Automation - Expert level implementation skills with ATDD, AFT, Unit Testing (JUnit, Karma, cucumber/selenium/contract testing)
+ Cloud Foundry- Expert-level implementation skills with Gaia (GAP, GKS) and S3 (AWS for object storage)
+ General - Comfortable in more than one programming language and have a firm grasp of fundamental web/internet technologies
+ Project Management - Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence
* Engineering Practices:
+ TDD - Must have practical experience with unit testing with preference given to those with an understanding of Mock Testing Frameworks like EasyMock or Mockito
+ ATDD - Experience with Acceptance Test Driven Development including the use of tools like Cucumber and Selenium
+ Experienced mentor with the ability to work in a collaborative environment and coach other team members on coding practices, design principles, and implementation patterns that lead to high-quality maintainable solutions.
