As an experienced member of our Software Engineering Group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. You'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals. Technical Expectations:
* BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
* Demonstrated willingness to learn outside of skills learned in school
* Proficiency in Web framework and strong expertise in JavaScript; Additional programming languages are a plus
* Proficiency in any of JavaScript frameworks such as Angular 2 or React JS; Node JS and Bootstrap is a plus
* Proficiency in application development using Java and Java frameworks within the Spring/Spring boot family
* Proficiency with library and dependency management tools such as Maven, NPM, or Yarn
* Experience in working with CI/CD technologies to build, deploy and run software
* Experience of automated testing practices and toolsets including Selenium or Cypress and TDD (Test driven development) practice
* Ability to work in an incremental development pattern using Scrum principles and adapt to make process improvements
* Ability to self-teach and independently learn and work with technology/language/frameworks/product partners as required
* Ability to collaborate effectively within and across LOB teams
* Strong communication & written skills
