Apple is seeking a Video Business Data Science Manager to join a team passionate about Apple’s digital video services as a part of the Apple Media Products (AMP) Data Science & Analytics organization.
This role provides the opportunity to work with Apple’s Video services covering the TV App, Apple TV+ subscription, transactional VOD/EST, and video partnership businesses. A successful candidate will help drive growth across these video services by using data science and analytic insights to evolve our 1st party services and video platform. Specifically, this role will help manage the health of the business and grow subscribers by evaluating various initiatives plus partnering with business teams on strategic opportunities.

As an organization, AMP Data Science collaborates with executives and various partners across business, product, design, engineering, and marketing teams. Our mission is to drive innovation at Apple through in-depth quantitive research of the App Store, Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Fitness, Apple One, and other services.
Establish a center of excellence for the Video Data Science team by uncovering business-actionable insights in collaboration with the Video services teams for TV platform Coordinate large complex projects from conception to completion, develop roadmaps and requirements, identify risks and develop contingency plans. Establish, improve, and socialize top line and operational metrics that accurately represent the business state of health Develop reporting measures to expand the portfolio of self-service dashboards and reports to inform, enable, and empower Video business partners Measure the impact of growth initiatives for the Apple subscription business by improving user acquisition, conversion, and retention though improved user experience, marketing offers, and business development partnerships Build a wholistic view of consumer behaviors across the Apple TV platform, and identify commonalities that drive a more positive customer experience and engagement Develop, recruit, and train a complementary team of hard-working data scientists passionate about uncovering insights from large-scale data across the video businesses
