Your Role in Our Pack:
This is a full-time position in our Ankeny office for local candidates or U.S. remote for the right candidate.
As a Content Marketing Coordinator, you will be the cornerstone of our Marketing Pack in ensuring the creation of content across the pack speaks to what the Pet Parents® brand is all about. You will collaborate with external videographers, photographers, and internal designers in the creation of content. You will position said content next to kicka** copy, B2B marketing collateral like postcards, magazine ads, digital ads, catalogs, and more. You will lead the planning, scheduling, creation, and execution of content on all social channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, and new to Pet Parents® Pinterest, and TikTok. You'll spearhead, grow, and manage our Social Influencer program. You will be our point of contact for the press and help create press releases and other similar announcements. With SEO best practices, you will lead our internal writer in the creation of blog content that informs & helps fellow pet parents with common topics that arise while raising furbabies with a current audience of 100,000s of readers annually.
On top of all of the above, you'll work with UGC, content syndication, and brand style guides. If branding, copywriting, video, photo, ads, social, influencers, blog content, & community is your thing, then this role is purrfect for you!
This role requires an uber-precise focus on communication & creativity skills, branding, messaging & positioning, project management, organization, critical thinking, an eye for good design, accuracy, problem-solving, data analysis, execution, out-of-the-box thinking, and empathy.
You will wear many "hats.”

You will own our blog, & ensure our articles help fellow pet parents with common questions, problems, and needs that are read by 100,000s readers annually

You will spot trends, cause-effect dynamics, and bring ideas & plans to life
You will be the creator, defender, and enforcer of our brand style guides
You will work in a fast-paced environment with constant hands-on projects
