DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Maintain and expand existing user interface client code base with custom remoting protocol application programming interface (API) integrations. Maintain and expand low-level business data middleware API integrations. Work with internal and external audit teams for regulatory, compliance, and audit responses for technical solutions clarifications and requests for information. Document client business and technical requirements from multiple perspectives, including design usability, application security, operations, and risk concerns. Support team-based Agile development by contributing to existing Continuous Integration/Continuous Development pipeline engineering. Make changes and design custom pipeline changes. Provide smooth transition and handoff documentation on developed code to production teams responsible for supporting mission-critical platform demanding continuous uptime.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Computer System Analyst, Application Development Manager, IT Team Lead, IT or Technical Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of experience in lieu of a Master's degree and five (5) years of experience.

Skills Required: This position requires experience in the following: development in Windows Presentation Foundation C#; Windows RDP remoting protocol client development; C# backend security development; integrating custom low-level business Application Programming Interfaces which interact with Microsoft Windows operating system internals and Microsoft Active Directory backend; working in strict regulatory and compliance environments, such as healthcare, government, or financial services organizations; translating between client business requirements and technical requirements from multiple perspectives, including design usability, application security, operations, and risk concerns; Agile development; Continuous Integration/Continuous Development pipeline engineering; making changes to pipelines and designing custom pipelines using tools such as Jenkins; and transitioning and providing handoff documentation on developed code to production teams responsible for supporting mission-critical platforms demanding continuous uptime.
