At our location in Berlin, we are looking for: Senior C# Software Engineer (m/f/d) This is a great opportunity for an experienced software engineer to take a prominent role within our product development team and help us meaningfully change how medical ultrasound works. Skills:

  • Must have: C#, .NET, git, JIRA
  • Nice to have: Visual Studio, API, any ALM software (e.g. Polarion), automated testing, Python, GUI development
Responsibilities:
  • Core responsibilities:
    • Familiarize with the 3rd party .Net ultrasound SDK
    • Analyse detailed requirements and designs and find appropriate technical solutions
    • Independently design, implement, integrate and verify the technical solutions
    • Become responsible for maintenance, changes, improvement, and expansion of the software
  • Project related responsibilities:
    • Support software requirements engineering and contribute to architectural development
    • Collaborate with QA and QM to ensure code quality and compliance of software development with relevant coding and regulatory standards
    • Participate in testing sessions with the end users
  • Code quality responsibilities:
    • Linting, unit, integration testing across our code base
    • CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and building artifacts
    • Own the release cycle process
Qualifications:
  • A degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent working experience
  • 2 to 3 years of knowledge in embedded software development and related design control procedures
  • C# is a high-level programming language you command well
  • Strong logical and analytical skills combined with troubleshooting and problem-solving experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Experience with Agile development regarding process, tools and practices such as test-driven development

    • Familiarized yourself with our MVP, the API and our tools
    • Helped deliver a prototype / mock-up
    • Helped set architectural direction for the initial product
    • Helped set direction for the release strategy

    • Made a substantial contribution to deliver the first release
    • Made significant contribution to the product
    • Helped recruit new team members
