Duties: Mentor and collaborate with team members to develop applications that leverage, enable and integrate with strategic applications, implementing voice services, authentication, contextual data, One Chase Service and Omni-Channel servicing. Contribute to and lead an area of development of the Enterprise Contact Center Inbound voice channel. Guide and mentor junior developers. Work with leads from other domains aligned to the Firm's investments in Digital, Cloud, Big data, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Robotic Process Automation. Create and maintain relationships with the lines of business and the development team. Determine application's full functionality through analysis of business and data requirements. Plan, architect, design, analyze and program to satisfy business requirements for complex projects utilizing a range of technologies. Adhere to architecture standards, risk management and security policies, data management policies, and strategic technology directions. Lead presentations in architecture review, and complete best practice development, estimating models, and code review. Build Subject Matter Expert knowledge and technical capability, providing recommendations to help backlog prioritization. Contribute to all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing, Deployment, and Maintenance following the firm's guidelines and practices on each step.


Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Computer Systems Analyst, Application Developer, Software Developer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience in the following: Java; JavaScript; JSON; XML; Scripting Linux, Web Services including SOAP and REST; Message Queue; Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP); Application design patterns; Middleware design Patterns; Microservices architecture; Open Source Technologies and libraries such as Spring, Log4J, Apache Commons, Kafka, or Cassandra; VoiceXML; Automated Speech Recognition; Text-to-Speech; Cloud Technologies such as Cloud Foundry or AWS; Kubernetes; Active Directory Federation Services; Kafka; Source Code Inspection, Software Project Management, Software Automation, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using tools including GIT, Sonar, Maven, and Jenkins; Java Integrated Development Environment; and designing and developing large scale applications.
