The JP Morgan Merchant Services group supports our customers by providing payment solutions. We are seeking passionate result-oriented technologists to drive better, faster, simpler solutions.

As a Senior member of our Software Engineering Group, you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance our fraud platform. You'll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the fraud platform for Small Business Merchants. You'll be lead Pega engineer, tasked with being the SME and coaching other Pega developers to grow into leaders. In additional to Pega, you will partner with the other leads to explore how Machine Learning can modernize the fraud platform and how we can do so with future reusability and application abstraction in mind.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* Knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
* Lead of the Pega skillset and desire to dive into Machine Learning
* Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm and the ability to coach and mentor your team to become the best versions of themselves
* Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages, ideally Java
* Define, design, develop, test, deploy, and support Microservices that comprise mission-critical enterprise applications
* Automate development, testing, and deployment processes

Requirements:
* 7+ years' experience utilizing Pega platforms and technologies for development of mission-critical enterprise applications
* Experience developing software using domain-driven design (DDD) approach, defining RESTful APIs and developing RESTful Web Services and experience building applications based on Microservices Architecture
* Some experience working with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
* Some experience and a strong desire to explore Machine Learning
* Working knowledge of utilizing and administering Software Configuration Management (SCM) tools (e.g. Git, Subversion) for software development
