The VP of Customer Experience designs and executes on our overall strategy for acquiring and retaining customers.

As VP of Customer Experience, you will own the entire customer experience for Ambassador Labs, from pre-sales through to post-sales. This is a unique opportunity where you can design and build the full customer experience for a high growth company that is fanatically focused on delighting customers.

Responsibilities

    • Lead the presales, sales, and support teams. Build a deeply technical, customer-focused team who can engage with customers at any point in their journey: from early exploration to high production usage.
    • Help customers maximize the value they get from our products through technical enablement, training, and support.
    • Partner with leadership to evolve our go-to-market strategy and value proposition; understand our areas of over and under performance in order to reach sales goals.
    • Design and build a comprehensive customer education program in collaboration with our growth marketing and developer relations teams.
    • Drive customer success outcomes as measured by customer-oriented business metrics. We don’t want to just measure customer success based on traditional metrics such as net revenue retention -- we care about our customers getting value from us, quickly, and getting more value every day.
    • Work cross functionally to define and evolve the customer life cycle, identifying and implementing appropriate process improvements in collaboration with Marketing, Product, and Engineering.
    • Create a company-wide culture of customer success, and act as a fierce advocate for the customer within Ambassador Labs.

About You

    • You’ve been a key player in implementing a highly successful customer success program, and you’re ready to write your own program that’s ten times better.
    • You have experience with a high velocity, product-led go-to-market motion
    • You’ve supported and sold highly technical products to mission critical users
    • You’re collaborative and have experience working across an organization and creating alignment. You may have even started your career outside of customer success.
    • You’re analytical and data driven.
    • Customers love you.
    • Customers love the people on the teams you’ve built.
