This position is a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a period of parental leave. Together, we focus on changing the way scientists communicate for the better. We connect the world of science and make research open to all. Objective of the Role Building and maintaining a high quality product requires a deep understanding and management of data and content quality. Our team is positioned at a cross section of different product areas, including user and content management as well as community features. We focus on manual data management and assisted data analysis with the objective to discover opportunities for product and UX development and serving the community in terms of community health. Our main areas of responsibility include the signup (membership application) process, publication metadata quality and the Q&A section. Responsibilities We are looking for a colleague with an interest in helping to spur along the scientific process of researchers by improving community health. You should have a keen understanding about scientific problems that researchers might face and be positively open about the ResearchGates’ mission and user community. A holistic and integrative understanding of various scientific areas would be an advantage. A background in basic data analysis would be preferable, including a keen interest to “do the dirty work” of manual labelling. Our colleague should desire to get to the bottom of things when identifying and characterizing opportunities based on data. We additionally would welcome any experience in identifying data quality markers. Requirements

  • Bachelor or Masters
  • Interest and experience in data evaluation
  • Clear communication and good documentation skills
  • Ability to work and communicate with a range of different stakeholders
  • Good English language skills (written and spoken)
