Today we have a team of over 50 highly skilled professionals with more than 20 nationalities working from The Hague and Melbourne. We will be opening another office in Ireland in the near future. What are you going to do?
We work in teams to meet our milestones. These are examples of the teams that we have: the Flight Algorithms Team, the Electronics Team, the Aircraft Design Team, the Software Team, the Flight Operations Team, etc. This vacancy is within our Algorithms team, a group of 5 experienced Algorithms engineers. Our flight control/flight dynamics team (algorithms team) is primarily responsible for the vehicle management system that controls the aircraft and the ground systems. This software covers all aspects of the system, from health management and navigation to flight guidance and control.
As our new senior algorithms engineer you will work as part of a highly skilled team based in The Netherlands, but will work collaboratively with engineers located in Australia. We design and implement all of our computational algorithms within the MATLAB/Simulink environment, and employ an autocoder to translate these into production flight code. You will work closely with Paul Williams to help develop and deliver the flight control software and associated simulation environments. As our business expands, we are also sizing and analysing larger scale versions of our technology, for which modelling and simulation skills are required.

What do we need from you to complement the team?
A Bachelor's degree in engineering is mandatory for this position. Ideally you will also have a Master's or Doctorate in Aerospace Engineering or dynamics/control related field with at least 5 years' experience in developing control systems and algorithms.
As you will be part of an international team, you are proficient in English (speaking and writing).
