This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* 10+ years of experience in information technology with an emphasis on application development, demonstrated experience with applications development throughout the entire development lifecycle.
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* Experience with Java/J2EE with a deep understanding of the language and core API's, web services, multi-threaded/concurrent programming, XML, design patterns, Service Oriented Architecture
* Experienced building RESTful and SOAP based APIs on both cloud and traditional on premise server infrastructures.
* Experienced building APIs in micro services based architecture.
* Experienced working on event processing technologies like Kafka and IBM MQ.
* Experienced working on Spring based technologies like Spring boot, Spring Core and Spring AOP.
* Hands on experience in Database technologies like DB2, Cassandra and Oracle.
* Experienced working on JMeter and Blaze meter tools for stress testing.
* Extensively worked on JUnit, Mockito and power Mockito for unit testing.
* Worked on Code quality tools like SONAR, PMD, FINDBUGS and extensively used software vulnerability detection tools like HP Fortify workbench and Secure Assist
* Work with a team that develops smart and scalable solutions and provide a solid experience for our users.
* Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems, Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages
* Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
* Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
* Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
* Passionate about building an innovative culture
* Experienced working on high volume batch processing.
* Experienced working on behavior based functional testing technologies like Cucumber.
