Qamcom is a high-tech, fast moving, and curious company, developing innovative products on the front edge of what is possible. We do this by combining several really strong and future-oriented technical expertise domains with a well-developed sense for strategy and business.
Some examples of areas we work with are Industrial AI and IoT, Sensor Systems, Radar Systems, Communications Systems, Med Tech, Autonomous Vehicles and others.
Right now, we’re working on several really cool projects and solutions, including one which we believe will constitute a paradigm shift in biometric identification.
And we're growing our team.
Therefore, we're looking for Senior Software Developers and Senior Embedded Software Developers with a broad background and experience that equates to creative design solutions that are both elegant and robust. This is where you come in, enabling us to do more things better.
Why not head over to https://www.qamcom.com/newsroom/#customer-stories and indulge in a few inspiring stories from the past.
A bit about us
We're 100% engineers. At the same time, we’re 100% committed to value creation – value powered by technology – for customers, people and society. And, although one should always be cautious about using big words, we're experts. And we love taking on new challenges and move borders. Whatever image that brings to mind for you is probably correct. We work with a highly agile spirit.
A bit about you
First and foremost: you are an expert in software systems and shipping to production.
We work with a diverse variety of technologies and platforms. You will be an expert in at least one area, for example: Software architecture, C/C++, Embedded Linux and Bootloaders, Driver development, Qt, Yocto, ARM, Python, Java, Cloud technologies and platforms, Databases, GUI design, Containerization, Security critical systems, Networking solutions and protocols. You will also relish the challenge to go outside your comfort zone and learn new things if required.
You have a BSc/BE/MSc/ME with at least 6 years of direct industry experience, or a PhD and demonstrable skills. And you are a Master of Tools.
But you may be interested in more than just software. Any AI expertise (e.g. data cleaning; object detection / inference; NLP, particularly for embedded/edge platforms) or adventures with GPU/FPGA programming would be icing on the cake.
We often work in close partnership or cooperation with other companies to develop products and so you will be well comfortable communicating directly with clients and other stakeholders.
Finally, you are fluent in English and have the right to live and work in Sweden. Ideally, you're already here in Stockholm! Speak Swedish? Even better!
Some random benefits apart from a competitive salary
Our office is located in the bustling Kista Science City area of Stockholm with excellent mingling and cooperation opportunities right outside the door.
We're really flexible on hours and remote ways of working. We've been working like this for a long time, well before COVID came along.
We're in growth mode. We use the best tools for the job. And we have a profit share scheme.
Excellent! We have lots to talk about...
Please get in touch, preferably by August 16th, 2021.
