Your role: As the Head of QA, you will lead a team of motivated and diverse QA engineers in our software quality engineering efforts. This is a challenging role where you will define and drive our overall QA strategy and ensure that the development teams adhere to the principles, guidelines, and best agile testing practices across all of Adjust’s products.   • Own and oversee the QA strategy across different products (web, mobile, API etc.)
  • Plan, grow and scale the QA function into the all organisation
  • Establish, evolve our formal QA process and enhance to apply quality methodologies and best practices
  • Perform effective manual, exploratory, and automate testing of the Frontend and API to ensure the product’s stability and performance
  • Act as a key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases in providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally
  • Ensure your team has the best setup to perform effective manual & automation testing
  • Work closely with Product and Infrastructure stakeholders to understand the business needs and identify the quality risks throughout the processes
  • Establish and maintain strong QA culture, quality is more than just testing
  • Invest time in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation of the QA team
What you bring: 
  • 6+ years experience working as a QA engineer
  • 3+ years of experience leading the high performing QA teams including both manual and automation
  • Strong leadership skills in motivating, enabling, and scaling the team
  • Proven experience in implementing and designing QA strategies and processes for a large-scale product
  • Passionate about quality, continuous improvement, and best testing practices
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes; experience working with Agile methodologies
  • Experience in testing REST APIs and UI
  • Strong programming and scripting experience, ideally with Javascript
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools is a great plus, i.e. Jenkins
  • Experience working with TestRails, SonarCube, or Selenium is a plus
  • Data-driven, analytical mindset, and detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders
