Key Requirements:

• Minimum 4-6 years of software development experience; analysis, design, coding, testing and debugging skills.

• Demonstrated ability to think critically and creatively to develop innovative solutions to software problems.

• Strong technical experience with mainframe technologies, primarily COBOL, CICS, DB2 and MQ.

• Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures; Endevor experience a plus.

• Strong Skills in All IBM Utilities, FileAid, TSO/ISPF/SDSF, and SORT is desirable.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through.

• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• The ability to present and absorb complex ideas quickly and accurately.

• Comfortable with agile development practices.

• Good prioritization and time management and able to multitask across multiple projects at once.

• Highly self-motivated.

• Previous financial services experience is a plus.

• Experience or knowledge with Java/J2EE development and/or Big Data concepts is a plus.
