About the Job
We are looking to hire a Head of Digital Marketing to build and run Ambassador Labs’ digital marketing strategy and systems. You’ll create insights that will be used to drive core go-to-market decisions for the company -- identifying investment opportunities for growth, helping us understand the business impact of our product-led funnel, and defining metrics to guide our actions as we grow our audience of developers. Reporting to the CMO, you will bring an affinity for synthesizing and visualizing data, marketing domain experience, and communication skills to help ensure we’re operating as a best-in-class growth organization.
We’re a small but quickly growing startup; you'll wear numerous hats and take on a leadership and ownership role for many elements of our digital marketing strategy.
You have experience both developing and executing digital campaigns across organic SEO, SEM and other acquisition channels. You have a rigorous framework for testing and scaling campaigns. If you like to break the rules and think outside the box, Ambassador Labs welcomes new ways of working. You pride yourself on exercising analytical rigor across the entire funnel. Cohort analysis comes second nature to you and you know how to measure and optimize performance across the entire user’s journey. Your empathy with technical audiences guides your understanding of where users like developers and engineers live and what will resonate with them. You work well in highly collaborative environments that value new ways of working and failing fast while iterating quickly.

Ambassador Labs is a remote-friendly company with “pods” in Boston, Portland and Montreal. Our pods are a way of bridging the gap between being 100% remote and working in an office. Eventually, when it is safe to do so, we will have physical offices in each of these locations for team members to go to on a part-time basis to fuel their creativity through brainstorming and watercooler conversations. This is our way of creating the best of both worlds. For now, everyone is 100% remote. It is worth noting that about 50% of team members are based outside of these pods in cities all over the world so if you would like to be 100% remote, the option is available.
