Ambassador Lab's mission is to help organizations, big and small, embrace the cloud-native culture. We believe that cloud-native organizations can better help their customers and improve their businesses. Our products are used by thousands of organizations worldwide, including companies such as Ticketmaster, Microsoft, and NVidia. Demand for our commercial products is snowballing and we are looking for a Strategic Alliances Manager to advocate partnerships with strategic partners.

You will work with our strategic partners to identify opportunities to solve critical customer problems. You'll also collaborate with our sales, marketing, and product teams to execute on these partnerships. You will work directly with the executive team to identify and execute on strategic partnership opportunities that align to overall company business objectives.

The ideal candidate has sales engineering or solutions architect experience - someone who can leverage their technical credibility and relationship building skills to nurture new and existing partnership opportunities, as well as drive execution of these partnerships across the entire Ambassador Labs organization.

Responsibilities

    • Lead day-to-day relationship and business development activities with strategic partners
    • Facilitate cross-functional initiatives within Ambassador Labs
    • Drive enablement and organizational alignment initiatives with each partner
    • Drive partnership go-to-market efforts with marketing and sales

Requirements

    • 4+ years experience in presales/sales engineering/solutions architect
    • Tech-savvy with a high degree of intellectual curiosity
    • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with a strong results orientation
    • Technical background (e.g. Computer science degree, product management, product marketing, engineering)

As a team, our focus is firmly on products that help users make the shift to the cloud with Kubernetes, front and center. We’re most known for our Ambassador Edge Stack and Telepresence products, but investing heavily in expanding our product footprint including Service Catalog, Developer Portal, and Kubernetes Initializer.

Built for Kubernetes managed environments, our flagship product, the Ambassador Edge Stack, goes beyond traditional API Gateways and Ingress Controllers with the advanced edge features needed to support developer self-service. The ease of installation, breadth of services, and support for full-cycle development have resulted in thousands of companies adopting Ambassador Edge Stack including Microsoft, PTC, Nvidia, and Ticketmaster. Our leadership team come from the likes of Rapid7, New Relic, SmartBear and Red Hat, to name a few.
