Your mission

As a DevOps Engineer, you are continuously working in interdisciplinary project teams which are set in an agile development environment. You are eager to join our team creating a stable and scalable infrastructure located in different datacenters. You will take ownership of the infrastructure, monitor, optimize and automate it in order to make it future-proof. Your role in our DevOps team will be transformational and significant.

Responsibilities:

• Support of the interaction between development, operations and quality assurance in the development and operation of IT services
• Grow and optimize our infrastructure; search for new technologies to keep it state of the art
• Ensure that our infrastructure is secured, monitored and scalable
• Drive the use of practices like continuous integration, continuous delivery and infrastructure as code
• You manage automation of reproducible configuration and rollout processes

Your profile

Technical:

• Software development experience and good knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Powershell, Python
• Practical knowledge with automated provisioning and management of private datacenter environments based on IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• You have experience with automating and implementing recurring tasks in a CI/CD system (Azure DevOps)
• Proactive and practical approach about developing secure, scalable and stable environments
• Understanding of or experience in an agile software development environment
• Of course, you understand Git, YAML, Kanban and Docker

Personal:

• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• Hands-on mentality, team player
• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Process-oriented mindset
