The Solutions/Support Engineer educates potential and existing users and ensures that existing customers are happy and successful. You will share our technical and product expertise with customers through demos, presentations, technical evaluations, and ongoing support. You will be part of a growing team that collaborates constantly to share knowledge and continuously advance our technical skill set.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide technical feasibility and ease of use of Ambassador to highly technical audiences.
  • Educate open source users on cloud-native best practices through presentations, demos, webinars, and/or blogs.
  • Troubleshoot, test and validate software issues with due urgency and maintain thorough documentation of all software solutions.
  • Provide customer onboarding, implementation and deployments. Analyze logs and communications to determine the root cause of any issues and triage risk.
  • Contribute to the development of internal knowledge base and customer solution portal.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in supporting highly technical software products.
  • Proven track record in establishing and growing relationships with users.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with proven ability to initiate and manage relationships with users of all levels.
  • Solutions oriented, empathetic and positive personality
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent in application development experience.
