Duties: Design, create and support objects in Informatica PowerCenter using an Oracle database. Interface with the user community to collect and document requirements for various projects. Adhere to architecture standards, risk management and security policies. Provide presentations in architecture review, strategic technology directions, best practice development (e.g., estimating models). Responsible for designing, building and maintaining software applications for Chase Card Services Data Warehouse. Design, analyze, develop, code, test, debug and document programming to satisfy business requirements. Deliver the assigned work within specified timelines with high quality. Participate in every phase of software delivery life cycle including Requirement, Analysis and Design, Build Code, Unit Test, Support system and Integration testing, Implementation phase and post implementation support. Write and enhance technical specifications based on functional specifications. Produce unit test case results, Implementation plans, Application Support Guide using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio. Develop code using Informatica, Oracle, Unix (Korn Shell scripts), PL/SQL, and Scheduling tools. Perform unit testing ensuring minimal code defects out of build phase into system test phase. Develop ETL concepts and Oracle Table partitioning. Identify and communicate potential impacts of a change or issue to other areas.


Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field.

Minimum experience required: 5 years of experience in application development, or related experience.

Alternate minimum education and experience required: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field plus 2 years of experience in application development, or related field.

Skills required:Experience with Informatica PowerCenter. Experience working with Large Data Warehouses and handling high data volumes. Experience with PL/SQL in Oracle. Experience with Unix and Linux. Experience with Shell and Bash scripting. Demonstrated knowledge of data warehouses and ETL Concepts.
