DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, implement, test and maintain major server-side components and web applications. Implement back-end components of an n-tier application, including data model, data access objects, and application logic. Work with stakeholders to design and implement different Business Process Management Processes/Workflows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution. Design, review and provide input to the design recommendations and incorporate security requirements. Provide input to information and data flow, and comply with architectural standards in all phases. Monitor and record the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop software application modules. Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Identify and troubleshoot application code-related issues. Ensure quality and completeness of the product through unit testing, documentation and maintenance. Participate and guide the product launch and deployment using continuous integration, deployment tools and technologies. Mentor the junior resources in the technology and software development life cycle who are part of the Scrum team. Perform the ongoing design and development of future state applications built on a resilient framework and Cloud Native technologies such as Java Spring Boot, APIGEE Gateway, Hystrix, Caching, Kafka, Cassandra and Oracle Databases. Responsible for creating and managing Micro services in Pivotal Cloud Foundry and AWS Cloud environments that enable the Asset and Wealth Management division to work more efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Minimum experience required: 5 years of experience in application development, or related experience.

Skills required: Experience with Micro services Development using Java and Spring boot. Experience with Java Messaging Service implementation (Kafka, and AWS SQS). Experience with deployment in Pivotal Cloud foundry and AWS environment. Experience with API Gateway Implementation using Apigee. Experience with Oracle SQL and Cassandra database development. Experience with Continuous Build Integration and Delivery Pipeline Management using Maven and Gradle. Experience with AWS SQS and SNS Implementation and management. Experience with UI Web Module Development using Apache Struts, Fusion charts and Spring framework. Experience with Spring Affiliated Project development using Spring boot, Spring MVC and Spring AMQP technologies. Experience with Design Micro services using Open API standard with tools including Swagger. Experience with Business Process Workflow Management using JBPM.
