Responsibilities In this role, we are looking for a Project Manager with Information Technology experience implementing service application tools. The candidate is highly self-motivated and has a passion for managing multiple, technical, and complex projects. This role will implement new business processes leveraging new technology to support the strategic growth of Infiltrator Water Technologies in Old Saybrook, CT.
Infiltrator Water Technologies is in the process of building new standardized processes to interface with growing customer and vendor base by implementing application base IT projects. The Project manager will lead and manage the roadmap and implementation of information technology projects.
This position reports to the VP of Finance & IT.
Work closely with stakeholders at all levels including business leadership, executive teams, project teams, and business users. Develop project charters and identify appropriate technology to meet business goals, working with internal groups and third-party providers to develop an effective solution that meets all stakeholder goals. Interface with the technology team members, and with external managed services providers. Become the in-house expert on available technology solutions in the areas of Ecommerce, EDIO, and supply chain management. Develop and manage capital budgeting, project planning and resource planning. Lead internal business and technology updates.
4-year college degree or relevant education and experience. 7+ years of experience leading and managing information technology projects, including multiple concurrent large-scale projects. Highly motivated and shows initiative, exceptional organizational and time management skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced, high velocity, environment; ability to stay focused on responsibilities, meet deadlines and manage competing priorities under pressure. Ability to drive effective meetings: workshops, design, and problem-solving sessions. Able to scale, apply, and adapt project management methodologies and frameworks. Manage all project documentation. Demonstrate and apply strong problem solving, analytical and conflict management skills Ability to present ideas in business friendly and user-friendly language; demonstrated aptitude for working with, supporting and communicating with users and customers. Business process acumen on customer invoicing and accounts receivable. Experience working win a team-oriented, collaborative, matrix environment, across multiple functions with a variety of operating environments, application software, tools and technologies. Proficient in MS Project.
Windows platform; Microsoft SQL Server. Experience with functional configuration and SaaS. Exposure/experience with agile implementation software application products for business process improvements that interfaces with customers and suppliers. Some background and understanding of operational processes in a manufacturing environment; functional competency in manufacturing, distribution, and financials.
